First race is just hours away. Are YOU ready?

Catalunya is coming up, at 9 AM GMT. And there are several stories that are developing in the hours before the race.

Red Bull and Scuderia Toro Rosso alliance
Obviously the main talking point is this alliance. Red Bull has the top two in the championship last season, Wmetcalf74 and AlonsoF1. Scuderia Toro Rosso has two amazing drivers in Kaboom321 and AntonyONE. And they are an alliance. Many expect these two teams to dominate this season, but you never can tell. Will team orders be a factor? Let's find out.

AlonsoF1 and Wmetcalf74 together
Another major talking point is these two. They are on the same team, Red Bull Racing. They provided us some amazing battles in Season 4, with Alonso coming out on top in the majority. Alonso claims it to be fun and intense, and I'm sure Wmet feels the same way. Davis2Nguyen, the Red Bull team boss, must be THRILLED with this lineup.

Rookies this season
There aren't a lot of rookies this season, but there are a few. Sergent44, Force India's number two driver, has shown a bit of promise in preseason testing. As well as some others, this will be an interesting season for rookies. Will anybody become the next Alonso?

A season outlook for all the teams

Red Bull: With two all-star drivers, it is clear that they are the team to beat.

Toro Rosso: Two above average drivers should mean that they are going to be solid.

Force India: Has a decent driver in Orange and an unproven in Serg. Serg's performance will determine how well the team does.

Caterham: ForzaRogo is an all-star driver, but AreaDestroyer has been rather inactive recently. The hope for them is that Area gets more active.

McLaren: This is a good team. Kevin and Oka are both very good drivers, and this team will be strong.

Lotus: With Goodsamy, who has a lot of talent, and Cyclone making his comeback, this should be a very good team.

Mercedes: Jim isn't the most active driver in the world but he gets it done when he attends. Raf is consistent but DNF's a lot. These guys might do great or they might do horrible.

Marussia: We don't know much, no drivers have been confirmed and TB McLarenHonda is nowhere to be seen.

Ferrari: Crazypizza isn't a terrible driver however the other driver is unsure as Bobby is not in the league. However they do have a reserve core with KingAli and Nirvik.

Williams: No drivers have been confirmed and JackTheSpeed hasn't been seen in a long time.

Sauber: DanoFett is a new TB and possibly he doesn't understand that he's supposed to sign drivers? Maybe?
